Relationships
After the initial first pages that everyone filled out, respondents were asked to fill out either Section A or Section B. Section A was for respondents currently in relationships. One of the biggest blips in the survey was that there wasn’t a place to indicate long distance status, although many respondents indicated if this was the case for them in the comments section. 85 out of 251 (34%) of survey respondents filled out the relationship section.
85 respondents indicated the length of their current relationships. (I didn’t split this by gender, as it was about equal for both genders.)
How do relationships start nowadays? Out of 59 female respondents and 26 male respondents; respondents were allowed to indicate more than one option.
Sexual intercourse in relationships:
Of the 85 respondents in relationships, 89% indicated that they were having sexual intercourse with their current partner.
Marriage:
Of the 87 respondents who responded to the question, 28% said they had talked about marriage with their partner, an additional 29% said they had talked about marriage a little with their partner, and 44% said they had not talked about marriage with their partner.
Love:
Out of 83 respondents, 73% said they loved their partner, 19% said they weren’t sure, and 7% said they did not.
Cheating:
Of 25 male respondents, 84% responded that they had not hooked up with anyone else while dating their current partner, and 16% responded that they had. Of 58 female respondents, 74% responded that they had not hooked up with anyone else while dating their current partner, and 26% responded that they had.
